Who We Are

I’m Samantha Watson, and I’m a lot of things: entrepreneur, cancer survivor, patient advocate, Brandeis alumna (BA in Spanish, MBA in Nonprofit Management), and mom to two awesome kids. But what I am most is passionate about helping people.

In 2003, I created a national nonprofit organization called The Samfund, now part of Expect Miracles Foundation, to help young adults who were struggling financially because of a cancer diagnosis. During my 16 years as CEO of The Samfund and subsequent three years as Managing Director of Stewardship at Expect Miracles, I wore all the hats: fundraiser, manager, communications director, social media content developer, strategist, public speaker, and relationship manager. I am a storyteller and a connector, and to my core, a people person. I’ve worked with small organizations and global companies, mentored one-on-one, and presented to audiences of all sizes, in-person and virtually. Everything I do is driven by my core values of integrity, transparency, and authenticity, and what I’ve witnessed countless times is that people want to do good. It is with all of this in mind that I created Samantha Watson Consulting. I want to help you and your company do good, and I want to help you do it more efficiently, more authentically, and more impactfully. The potential returns are endless.

Sam has the perfect mix of compassion, purpose, knowledge, and energy. She created a safe space for many young adult cancer survivors and our families to have a community full of support and information. She is relentless in her desire to give back.
